Tempe Joint Guide

Chandler is the practical clinic drive from most of Tempe

Your joint may stiffen before you've even left home. A long drive can make the trip harder. An internet map may show several clinics without telling you which drive is easier. Your part of Tempe makes the difference.

Chandler is the practical choice for most residents. The Scottsdale drive can be shorter from northern Tempe. Traffic and road work won't stay the same all day. Check the full street address and current route before leaving.

I’d arrange the return ride before the visit too. Ask whether the shot may limit driving that day. Keep the clinic number where you can find it. If a friend is helping, make sure that person knows the chosen location.

Chandler is usually closer from south and central Tempe

From south Tempe, including Warner Ranch, Alta Mira and the Kyrene corridor, Chandler is about five miles away and ten to twelve minutes off peak. Kyrene or Rural leads south to Ray. Then you head east toward Dobson. From central Tempe, McClintock becomes Dobson at the Chandler line.

Downtown, Mill Avenue and the ASU area are roughly twelve miles away by Rural Road or Loop 101 south. The drive usually takes eighteen to twenty minutes off peak. Those times aren't promises. Valley traffic and road work can slow you down.

QC Kinetix offers consultations at its Chandler clinic about non-surgical PRP—platelet-rich plasma—which starts with a blood draw and a spinning step before a provider gives the prepared blood liquid as a joint shot. The clinic is at 1100 S. Dobson Rd., Suite 210, Chandler, AZ 85286. The shared number is (602) 837-PAIN, or (602) 837-7246. Confirm the address when you arrange the visit.

Scottsdale may be the shorter drive from north Tempe

For Papago Park, Riverside, Hayden Ferry Lakeside and Marina Heights, Scottsdale can be about the same drive as Chandler. It becomes shorter above Curry Road. This guide doesn't carry the full Scottsdale street address. Call the shared number and confirm that address before you leave.

West Tempe is less direct because Interstate 10 breaks up the street grid near the Sky Harbor edge. Priest, Elliot, Warner, Rural and Kyrene may be better than a freeway detour. Check current traffic instead of trusting the usual time. Your return trip matters as much as getting there.

Here’s the practical point. Pick a clinic that won't add needless strain to the sore joint. Ask about parking and the walk to the office. You'll travel more easily when those details are settled first.

The Cochrane review of exercise for knee osteoarthritis found high-quality evidence that land-based therapeutic exercise provides short-term benefit in pain and physical function, sustained for at least 2-6 months after the programme ends, with mild transient soreness the only reported adverse effect across 45 trials. It is the best-evidenced treatment for this condition and it costs nothing per injection.

Notably it does NOT strongly recommend any biologic injectable.

At its Chandler location, QC Kinetix provides regenerative treatment options such as platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, a joint shot made after your blood is drawn and spun to gather platelets into less liquid. Tell the provider which joint is sore, how the trouble began, and what care you've tried. The clinic's full address is 1100 S. Dobson Rd., Suite 210, Chandler, AZ 85286; the shared number is (602) 837-PAIN.
